Cowboy

Mitchell has Western Day at school on Monday, so we were telling Grandmother and Pawpaw about it and Pawpaw said he would go get his cowboy hat! It sure fit him pretty well! HAHA He looks like a mean cowboy/rocker in this picture! Hope everyone has a great day!

Not much to report

Not much has been going on in the Carey househould hear lately! And I haven't been taking many pictures (shame on me) I really think Mitchell is going to do something with music when he gets older! The boy loves singing! His fav. is to sing "It's a Sunny Day, Everything will be ok" whenever he wakes up! He's always pretending to be someone else too, so maybe with his imagination he'll write songs, because Lord knows he won't be getting a good voice from me or his daddy!
On to daddy news: I'd like to personally Congratulate John on passing his third kidney stone this morning (or babies as we like to call them) I've heard women say before that they'd rather give birth naturally than pass a kidney stone, so i know it has to hurt! But he's tough and besides acting a little uncomfortable, we would have never known he was sick! Guess this is why Mitchell is so tough!
Me and #2 are doing great! I think the yuckiness is starting to wear off a little! I just get really tired at certain times now! I go back March 9th and I'll be right around 12 wks, so we'll hopefully get to hear the heartbeat!

Fun with Papaw and Grandma!

We had some great weather this weekend, so we decided to get our house and deck pressure washed, then start on staining our deck! Mitchell helped Daddy pressure wash on Saturday! We had some technical difficulties getting started, so we had to run a few places! One of Mitchell's fav. places to go is Ace Hardware, because he gets popcorn and cookies! We ended up going around lunch time, so that was Mitchell's lunch! Healthy-i know, right?? HAHA John got most everything pressure washed, then Sunday after church we started staining! Mitchell went home with Grandma and Papaw and had a blast-as usual! He's told my mom out of the blue at least two times now-"I like your house" HAHA

7wks and 4days

I had my first doctor's appointment this morning and I was pretty much right on! My due date is September 24th! He went ahead and did an ultrasound while I was there, just to make sure he was close on the due date! I saw the little peanut fluttering! He did find a cyst on my right ovary though! He said it more than likely happened while the egg was being fertilized! I think he said it was filled with water and that it should be gone by my next ultrasound which will be around 18wks. So if you don't mind just say a little prayer that it dissolves without causing any harm! He said he wasn't concerned about it though, so that made me feel better! I'll go back in a month-hopefully to hear the heartbeat!

Happy Birthday Aunt Jamie!

Just wanted to wish Aunt Jamie a Happy Birthday tomorrow! I wasn't sure if I'd be on tomorrow or not! We'll be eating tonight at mom's for her birthday! I think she picked "Make your own Pizza" for her menu! YUMMY! Hope you have a great one!

Also, I failed to post on Aunt Susie and Aunt Lisa's birthdays! They were both early January! So Happy Belated Birthday to the both of you too!
