5 years in the making!

I just wanted to say Happy Anniversary to my hubby! Today is our 5 year! We are hoping 5 years from now we'll be in Hawaii celebrating-at least thats our hope! HAHA We will have known each other 10 years total this November. Hard to believe we have been dating/married for a decade! John is a great husband! Always helping around the house and he's even starting to do things without me having to ask-i guess i'm slowly training him! :) He's an awesome daddy to Mitchell too! Mitchell always has a blast with daddy no matter what they are doing. I love you John and Happy Anniversary!

We have taken more pics (just the two of us) together the last few months than the last 3 years combined probably due to Mitchell's new love of taking pictures! We were eating at O'Charley's Sunday when Mitchell took this one. He also took about 5 pictures of our waitress, i bet the poor girl thought we were going to black mail her or something!

Sometimes we have to squat down to his level, but he does a great job!

I had to take this picture on the way to church Sunday because it just hit me that Mitchell looks like a little boy now and not a baby! He thought he was something with his spikey hair, you can't see it too good because its so light!

Here are a few pics of Shelby's room! We got the new carpet laid a couple weeks ago, so now we have been putting the final touches on everything else. Gram and Pops got us our bedding and the valances-thank you so much. Then grandmother made the curtain panels and the red tie back things! It's great having a grandmother who can sew, i really need to learn soon!

Happy 3rd Birthday Mitchell!

Who would have thought that we would be cold on Mitchell's birthday! Just about everybody that got out of the pool and even some who didn't swim were shivering! Crazy weather, but it was very nice for those who weren't swimming! HAHA Mitchell had a great birthday again! He was so excited this year and his wish list grew every day! He had a dinosaur themed party and really loved his volcano cake! He got lots of cool toys! Just about everyday at some point he'll say, "thank you everybody for my presents!" It's too cute! Here are a few pics from the party! I'll devote another post to all of his friends that were there! I already had too many pics! Thank you to everyone for coming and sharing Mitchell's special day with him!

Happy Birthday Papaw!

Happy Birthday to the Papaw monster! Thats what Mitchell calls him because everytime we leave his house he acts like a monster-Mitchell loves it! We hope you have a great day and a Happy Birthday!

Just wanted to wish my mom a Very Happy Birthday! I won't tell her age but she ages gracefully-hopefully i got her genes in that department! Mitchell was wondering what kind of birthday party you were having! He said maybe a camping birthday party! HAHA Have a great day! We love you!

Garage sale and camping

A couple weeks ago we had a yard sale to try and clear some room for the nursery! Mitchell decided he wanted to have a lemonade stand! His daddy came up with a brilliant idea to have a "Tips" jar for him too! The first two ladies of the morning left him over $2 in tips and didn't even buy any lemonade because we didn't have it ready yet! It turned out to be a great idea as Mitchell made over $20 in Tips alone! One man said that he couldn't resist not buying any lemonade from him!

Mitchell went camping with Grandma for two days. He had a blast and is ready to go back! This is him making his scary face!

Happy 4th of July!

I hope everyone has a Happy and safe 4th of July! We went to the zoo this morning! It was perfect weather! Mitchell had a blast and mommy got a little exercise in!
