Fun Fall Saturday!!

Yaaaabbaaadaaabaaadoo!!! Bam-Bam made his first appearance out in public this Saturday. The City of Mt. Juliet had a Fall/Halloween Festival Saturday at the local park. We just so happened to get there right for the costume contest. John thought I knew the schedule or something, but i had no idea. Let me just say, Mitchell is not shy when it comes to being on a stage. He worked the judges over, then didn't want to come off the stage! LOL Afterwards they lined us all up on the ground level so the judges could take one more look and he was heading straight for the steps to go back on the stage! They chose a top 5 and Mitchell won! He got a new toy out of the deal!!
Bam-Bam playing with his club! Thankfully he didn't hit anyone.

Saturday night Pops & Grams church had a hayride/cookout, so we made our way to Hartsville to have a fun night with them. If Mitchell doesn't turn out to be a farmer, I'll be really shocked. He absolutely loves tractors and anytime there is one he has to get on it and take a ride.

Yeeeehaaaawww! Mitchell with some hay in his hand.

Let's go for a ride!

Start it up!

And this years Halloween outfit will be....

It's a pretty pink butterfly!!!!! HAHAHAHA Only kidding! We were at The Children's Place last weekend and Mitchell's daddy, Uncle Daniel, & David decided to play a joke on Mitchell's mommy! :( I was over shopping for Maddie (Daniel did a really good job of distracting me) then I hear, "Kristin, come here a minute" I go to the other side of the store and I see my son in a pink butterfly costume! I couldn't stop laughing because Mitchell had no clue what was going on, so he was just being his normal self of getting in to everything as you can see in the last picture of him grabbing for some shirts!
Here is the real Halloween costume for this year!
It's BAM-BAM! Reason we chose Bam-Bam is because there have been several people call him this. The first week Trevor came to church, Pastor Andrew made Craig hold Trevor up for everyone to see, then he said, now hold Bam-Bam up next to him and as John held him up, he went after Trevor! So it just sort of stuck. Then this past Saturday at Maddie's party, Uncle Billy called him Bam-Bam too, so we thought it was very fitting. Hopefully it won't be too cold, so he can wear the outfit just like this.

Papaw& Grandma picked the material out for Mitchell at JoAnn's for $3! WOW, what a deal on a Halloween costume! Grandmother made the outfit and also covered his baseball bat with some brown material!
I couldn't keep the sash part around his shoulder because it wasn't tacked down yet.
You better watch out when Bam-Bam is around, because he WILL hit you with his club!

A few more pics from the party!

Happy Birthday Princess Maddie!

Mitchell wanted me to make sure and tell cousin Maddie, Happy Birthday! Today is her actual birthday, but her party was Saturday at Pop's & Gram's house. She had a blast! She really loved her cake, so much that her mean momma had to take it away from her, because she was afraid she was gonna eat the whole thing! She also got LOTS of pretty clothes. Here are a few pics from the party from Aunt Diana's camera! I'll try and post more from my camera later on.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
OH BOY, here comes the cake!

YUMMY! I thought she was gonna eat the back of her hand off.
Mitchell with cousin Cade. He's such a cute little chunker!

Entertainment for the little ones.

CAUTION: Men at work

This past weekend John and I played in a softball tourney in Hartsville, so Mitchell got to spend lots of time with Grams & Pops (hopefully they have recovered) He was very busy all weekend...plowing the field, riding around on the gator, and he even tried driving a helicopter. The tournament was put on by the local EMS, so the lifeflight was there. Pops took Mitchell & Maddie over to see it and the pilot suggested putting Mitchell in the seat....YIKES!! They put him in the seat and whats the first thing he does?? Grabs the stick! LOL Ne fear for this kid. (Aunt Karla snapped some pictures, so as soon as i get those from her, i'll post them) Mitchell & Maddie even go to see the helicopter take off...how exciting.
Plowing up the land with Pops!
Doing some yardwork with Pops!
FINALLY...machinery just my size.
John and I went and bought this for him because he is always trying to ride his little dump truck and tractor trailer, which are very small. So we thought he would enjoy something he could actually fit on and he does!

Last week!

Last Thursday Mitchell and I went up to Center Hill to visit with Grandma, Papaw, and Nolen for the day. Dad hauled his new fifth wheel for the first time and had a rough start, but everyone made it there safely. Just a little story about Nolen. Mitchell and I started out in my car behind them, because we had to drop Rocky off at our house. Well I get a call about 5 minutes after we left and they are pulled over on the side of the road. As they were getting off HWY 70 and on to HWY 109 they hear a loud noise...the hitch had shifted on them. It was so scary to mom that she thought the trailer was coming through the back window. So they get pulled over and get Nolen's carseat in my car and we all head on up to the gas station to get off the side of the road. Well on the way there Nolen says, "Kristin did you hit Papaw's camper?" LOL I guess since he saw my car right behind Papaw's and he heard the noise, he thought i had hit them. I think he was a little confused because he said it again later on. HAHA But dad got it fixed (sort of...enough to make it to Center Hill) Mitchell loved having a riding partner right beside him, but I don't think Nolen liked it too much. Mitchell just kept trying to touch him while at the same time laughing and Nolen was just swatting at him to get him to quit touching him! :0) But we got there and strolled around, then went to the playground and had fun.
Grandma & Mitchell Weeeeeee! This is Mitchell's hair DURING the slide down...
Mitchell's hair AFTER the slide...to get the full effect, click on the picture to emlarge it!
John also stopped to get Emma a new bed, because he saw an ad in the paper that they were on sale. Well he gets it home and what do you know, Rocky takes it over! So I guess its back to TSC for another one. Dogs are worse than kids i do believe. Can't just give one a toy/gift.
Here is pretty girl Emma, enjoying her new bed, that she gets to use sometimes!

14 months today!

Happy 14 months to Mitchell.
Here are a few pictures from the past few days. I was slacking on my picture taking because of the old camera being messed up, so we have been making up for it the past few days.

Mitchell and mommy modeling for the new camera. My face was so red from the Titans game. We sure didn't think we would get that much sun!
Pawpaw and Mitchell playing Peek-a-boo! He sure loves his Pawpaw!
Aunt Lisa, Uncle Clay, and cousin Michael came over for a bit last night. I think its safe to say that Michael is a clone of his daddy. HAHA
Bathtime! Can anyone say, "Up to no good?"
