Happy Halloween!

I wanted to go ahead and post this since I wasn't sure if I would be on the computer again before Friday! My brother and his family are leaving today for Idaho to go visit Jamie's sister, so we got the boys together Sunday night for a picture with their costumes on! They were all too cute! Nolen wasn't crazy about his mask, Trevor wasn't bothered by anything, and I think Mitchell would have worn his Mickey costume all night if he could have! (Thanks Jamie for letting us borrow it)
We'll be going to Trunk or Treat tomorrow night in Hartsville, then Friday night at our church, so Mitchell should have lots of candy for the weekend!
Optimus Prime, the Monkey, and Mickey Mouse

Nolen coming out of the costume! HAHA

There's little Mitchee Mouse!
Little Monkey Man! This is a perfect one for Trevor, everytime i sing the song Monkey's Jumping on the Bed to Mitch, I think of Trevor because that boy loves jumping!
OH NO, it's Mitchee Prime!

Defeated Camping Trip '08

Well we had another great trip and great weather this year at our fall Defeated Creek camping trip! I think there were over 20 of us all together, it was nice to have Aunt Marty, Chelsea, Maggie, William, and the Trotters along with us this year! Mitchell and I got there early Friday morning and hit the ground running. The boys-Mitchell, Nolen, Trevor, and Drew all drove Nolen's Gator and had a blast. We even let the little ones drive who have no clue what they are doing-including Mitchell! HAHA
John & Craig braved the tent, so Shannah and I had the pop-up all to ourselves! We kicked the breaker for having two heaters on, but we didn't need two anyways, so we settled for one and stayed nice and warm!
Saturday was full of eating, i feel like thats basically all we did. We played some cornhole, did lots of playing on the playground, and carved our pumpkins! Mom, Vickie, and Aunt Marty stayed up until 4AM Sunday morning trying to see the sunrise, but they didn't quite make it!
Sunday we just played some more, then headed out around 2.
Just wanted to say thanks to all of those who did the cooking, especially mom! Can't wait for next year!
Everytime Mitchell talks to my mom-who is still there (recovering from being on her feet so much from cooking) I tell Mitchell that Grandma is still camping, so he says "Me go?" So I'm pretty certain that Mitchell loves camping as much as his Grandma!
Friday morning!
Just chillin'

Not sure if Drew was watching something very closely or if he was thinking about doing something in his pants! HAHA

Mitchell and Nolen playing with Nolen's monster trucks!

I really think this was the highlight of the trip for the boys! David kept chasing them around! I think Mitchell only hit one tree!

Come on Nolen, lets go for a ride!

Cheese!

There's the "i'm up to no good" look that we all know and love!

Here come the intimidating drivers-Trevor Wayne and Mitchell Cash

Start 'em up boys! They don't look too intimidating to me here!

me and Shan! Glad she could come along this year. She's been in GA the past few years, so she got to come along since she's back in TN now!

Family pic!

I think Mitchell was scaring somebody!

Everyone working hard on their pumpkins! Mitchell was taking his 3 hour nap during the pumpkin carving, so he missed out!

Getting some pointers from the expert David!

My "Wicked" pumpkin

Shannah's cat pumpkin

The whole community of pumpkins. We always put them right beside the road and light them up, so people can see them as they are walking around the campsite!

The carvers!

With my brother and little Trevor man!

Mr. Entertainer as I like to call him. Saturday night he was very entertaining around the campfire. He sang songs, told secrets, and scared a lot of people!

Love it!

Mitchell got in a lot of time on the playground with Daddy!
I love you Daddy!

The only pic the cook would let me take of her! This is where mom spent about 80% of her time! We really appreciated all of the tasty foods!

Thank you Grandma! I LOVE YOU!

Fun-filled weekend!

We had a busy, yet fun weekend! Friday night we went to the Trousdale Co/Clay Co. game. It wasn't much of a game (42-0 TC winning at halftime) but we were there because they were honoring the 1998 State Championship team that John was on. I guess Mitchell thought he was part of the team, because he took off after John once he saw him on the field. Mitchell also made his first radio appearance. Pops took him up into the press box where they do the radio and Mitchell got to say a little something on the radio-not exactly sure what he said!
Saturday was Halloween in the Park at our local park. Of course Mitchell couldn't wear his Mickey costume since it was 85 out, so we went with Plan B. Plan B was, find whatever you have at the house and make it a costume. I didn't want to go buy a costume so we worked with what he had and Mitchell was a farmer/Tom Sawyer/Huck Finn-whichever. There were LOTS of people there and it was HOT so we didn't stay but about an hour.
Theres my little Tom Sawyer!
YUM-I love suckers! Taking a lap around the park on the hayride!

Sunday we met Uncle Craig, Aunt Jamie, Nolen, and Trevor at Pumpkin Hill. We went on a hayride and picked out pumpkins!

CHEESE!
Look at those handsome boys! They will melt some girls hearts with all of those blue eyes!

Family pic!

The Sanfords! Craig with the famous "Sanford crooked smile"

This guy was working so hard he didn't see the baler coming along, so he ended up baled up with the hay!

Man, that pumpkin must have been REALLY heavy!

Thanks for the help Daddy!

Trevor man with his pumpkin! Trevor gave us a great horse impersonation on the hayride! HAHA

Nolie with his prize pumpkin!

Someone got a little jealous once they saw me and Nolen taking this picture! Hmmmm, wonder who it was!

Cutie pie in his daddy's hat!

The boys mooing at the cows!

Can't go anywhere without a silly picture of daddy!

Sister-in-laws!

Taking a rest after the long hayride!

Farmer Nolen with his pumpkin!

The end to a great weekend!
