Good Luck Jeremy!

My cousin Jeremy leaves next Tuesday night for the Air Force! We are so very proud of him but we don't want to see him leave either! He'll be gone to basic training for 8 weeks, then weapons training for the next 2 weeks, then he'll be sent to his base! Altogether he'll be gone 6 months! We know he'll do great because we have seen how disciplined he can be. He lost over 80 lbs. i think, so he could enlist into the Air Force! He lost the weight even though he was eating at moms every Thursday-now thats impressive! Sunday our church presented him with an Airmen's Bible and a VERY nice watch. You can set the time to 3 diff. time zones, so he'll always know what time it is back home! The manual was like 2 inches thick! After church Sunday we went to his parents house and all the family was gathered to give Jeremy an early Christmas since he'll be gone during that time! Then Tuesday night we ate here at moms! Jeremy picked the menu: Philly Steak & Cheese sandwiches, vegetables, then we had an apple pie dessert! It was all delicious-as usual! Jeremy said he hadn't eaten within the last 24 hours just so he could come pig out and still make his weight! We'll miss you Jeremy, but know that you'll have so many people praying for you! You are going to do great and we are very proud of you-we love you!

HO HO HO! One of mom's gifts to Jeremy! He loves anything and everything camo!

We all wanted Air Force shirts ever since we knew he was going in, so i ordered some shirts and made everyone (except Pawpaw & grandmother) a shirt!

We love you Jeremy!

Pawpaw, Jeremy, and dad!
Pawpaw is so proud of Jeremy! Pawpaw served in the military when he was a young man, so he can relate with Jeremy! One of their fav. things since Jeremy was young was to share military/war stories. Pawpaw had a hanky in hand all through service Sunday!
